Well, staying young at heart is just easy. All you need to do is be yourself, cut people some slack and have fun! In today’s busy world, wherein everyone is so busy climbing and racing to climb the career ladder, we tend to forget things that really matter, enjoying life and staying young, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Here are some tips to stay mentally young; I bet many of you want to check this J
Sing–Some say that if singers tend to be more satisfied with life and have more self-confidence. And statistically (of course not official) they tend to be smarter! Hmmm.. this may be a great subject for debate but then again, if you think about it, it is fun to sing and to let it all out so why not believe and try to be singers yourselves.
Dance—Dance and dance in the rain. Do you still remember your childhood and the feeling during rainy days and you couldn’t wait to go out and dance and play outside the rain. This will definitely make you feel young at heart!
Play— Go to a playground and get on swings and try to play with your children, or those who are at your age! There is no rule that only children can play at the play area and park.
Hug— Hug your family, friends, and a tree! Yes, this will definitely help stay mentally young J Did you know that trees in your environment can reach an age of 1000 years, yes a thousand years! Amazing, right? And some trees are getting much older so what if the next time you see a tree, try to hug it and feel better.
Smile–Try to make funny faces in the mirror. As what they say, a smile (and great smile!) can change your day or even your entire life. Smiling is free and is easy. You can also try other expressions and make your friends laugh too!
Do not take life too seriously and let your inner child loose, now and again. Remember your youthful days and how you were so care free and you feel young and refresh and so much alive!
Fight—this fight means, have a playful pillow fight just like you were kids. Being young at heart is so easy for everyone, just try to remember the things that made you happy when you were a child. Experiences that brought so much fun, joy and memorable event that made you really happy and enjoy life. Those are the things that you need to do again once in a while. With this, you are helping yourself and your life a bit happier, younger and enjoyable!
