Furthermore, anesthesiologist’s assistants are responsible for carrying forth preliminary patient care duties such as gathering the patient data, carrying forth laboratory tests and examinations (blood, urine or even x-rays).

They may also be required to monitor the progress of the patients and learn the workings of different life support equipment forms. They have to also learn the correct dosage counts, its importance and the dangers of administering an extra dose to patients.
